Bay Sea Farms owns the lease for the entire 90ha Mt Martha Aquaculture Zone in Port Phillip Bay to grow mussels , just south of Melbourne. Bay Sea Farms also has other sites in Port Phillip Bay & Westernport . Our mussels are sustainably sourced from our hatchery at Queenscliff where we produce mussel spat.. We then on grow the spat for a further 12 months at Mt Martha until they reach 75mm to 80 mm. They are harvested and brought to the markets fresh daily.
